No one is more surprised than I that I now practice meditation, shamanic Reiki and perform ceremony and ritual for myself and others. It is a surprise because just a few years ago, I was an analytical reporter skeptical of just about everything. I would have classified my work today as "woowoo" and would have thought it interesting but not for me.
But then I started studying religion in 1999 and also seeing a very good therapist who helped me start exploring who I really am. On this path, I also discovered Reiki - hands-on energy healing work - and shamanism - journeying to other levels of consciousness to gather information to help myself and others. (I became a Usui Reiki Master and Shamanic Reiki Master in 2003.)
I not only have studied religion informally but also have received a master's of theological studies from Brite Divinity at TCU in Ft. Worth. This study has led me to see that all religions help people connect with the divine, and as a result, my personal path includes gifts from many paths. So I honor all ways of reaching the divine, The Many Paths Way. I am also a member of Conscious Crossings, a group dedicated to helping people move through transitions in life and death. And I am an adjunct teacher in two world religions intro classes at a local community college.
I have studied with several shamanic and Reiki teachers in Dallas, New Mexico, Florida and Massachusetts, earning certificates as an Usui Reiki Master (from Jennifer Walz) and Shamanic Reiki Master (from Llyn Roberts), a Master Shapeshifter (from John Perkins and for power and soul retrieval work (from Kristin Madden).
And today, I am here to help you to remember yourself, helping you let go of what you no longer need, making space for your mission in life, finding happiness and peace.
